Conditions that are appropriate for a telehealth visit include:

Common cold, Sinusitis, Nasal congestion, Rashes

Medication questions, Upper respiratory illness, Cough/bronchitis  

Pink eye, Allergies, Sore throat, Urinary tract infection

 

Conditions that are not appropriate for telehealth visit include:

Life or limb threatening injury, Poisoning, Shortness of breath or wheezing

High fever, Chest pain, Abdominal pain

Ear pain, Difficulty swallowing, Excessive vomiting

Fractures, Weakness or numbness, Controlled substances

Dizziness, Severe headache/migraine, Fainting

Lacerations, Abscesses, Back, pelvic, joint pain                  

Pregnancy, Children age 9 and under

 

Payment information:

Telephone or Video Call: Self-pay rate of $60. Insurance accepted as well

 

A credit card is needed to conduct a telephone or video visit. You may use insurance that is accepted by Monroe Urgent Care. If insurance is used, verification of eligibility and urgent care benefits will be performed prior to the rendering of medical services. Guarantor is responsible for any amounts not covered by insurance. If clinically indicated, your provider can e-prescribe a prescription to your designated pharmacy.

Lab Testing

PCR COVID and Other CLIA-waived Tests:

In-house PCR COVID testing is available every day, using the Cepheid GenExpert Platform Other point-of-care rapid tests include influenza, strep, mono and urinalysis. In addition,  we can collect blood for standard and non-standard labs thru Labcorp or Quest.

For Expedited Service:

Bring your drivers license or picture ID, insurance card, parental concent form, payment or co-pay, Also bring list of current medications, past surgeries and medical conditions and allergies.
