Employment Physicals

Pre-Employment and DOT Physicals

The Monroe Urgent Care have DOT Certified Doctors that comply with federal law in conducting a DOT Physical for Commercial Driver's License and CDL Application.

Trucking DOT Physical The DOT Examiner will review the DOT Drivers medical health history, including these key points:

  • Check your pulse and blood pressure
  • Perform a vision test
  • Observe your general appearance
  • Examine your eyes, throat, mouth, and ears
  • Listen to your heart and lungs
  • Check for spine deformities
  • Perform a neurological exam
  • Press on your abdomen to check for abnormalities
  • Perform a hernia check

PCR COVID and Other CLIA-waived Tests:

In-house PCR COVID testing is available every day, using the Cepheid GenExpert Platform Other point-of-care rapid tests include influenza, strep, mono and urinalysis. In addition,  we can collect blood for standard and non-standard labs thru Labcorp or Quest.
